Kipu Ranch is a 3,000 acre property extending from the beautiful Huleia River to the top of the spectacular Mt.Haupu! The diverse landscape makes this ride a little more challenging with its unique trails, cool forest roads, two gorgeous waterfalls, and lush green pastures to mountainside trails! After you have witnessed these breathtaking views you can cool off in a separate swimming hole and enjoy a delicious deli lunch! The new Honda AT 400 ATV for Single Riders is the best ATV available for the kind of terrain on the Four Hour Waterfall Picnic tour. The powerful 400cc engine gets you up the steep mountain trails and the fully automatic transmission makes it easy to operate. The AT 400 has push-button on/off select 4 wheel drive for the slippery spots. The lower ground clearance wide wheel base makes this machine more stable than the smaller ATVs that other companies use for their tours. You must be at least 16 years of age to operate an ATV at Kipu Ranch Adventures. If your age is between 16 to 18 you will need a parent's signature. You must have a valid picture ID for proof of age. We check for ID and make no exceptions. This is one of the most fun Kauai Activities for those of proper age. Kauai Tours enforces the same rules of Kipu Ranch Adventures.
The Bombardier Outlander Max is the premiere two person ATV and was chosen "ATV of the Year" by ATV Magazine. This ATV is great for couples. Must be 18 to drive or ride as a passenger.
The 660cc Yamaha Rhino is the most comfortable ride we have. A favorite for couples. It offers 2 passenger side-by-side seating. This is a great parent/child vehicle, but the driver must be 21 and related to underage passengers.
Our guide-driven three passenger Kawasaki Mule is great for the kids or for those who would rather watch the scenery than the road. Helmets, goggles and bandanna are provided. Children must be 5 years old (100 lbs or less per child)

Where And When

From the North(Princeville) & East (Kapaa& Wailua Shores): Head South on Hwy 56 into the town of Lihue, here Hwy 56 runs into Hwy 50. Follow Hwy 50 thru the town of Puhl, turn LEFT at the 3 mile marker (KIPU sign). Go mile and take the first RIGHT(KIPU road, also NOT OUTLET sign) cross over small bridge and follow to the top. Take a RIGHT at our sign and pull into the first driveway. DO NOT go past the pine trees or monument.
From the South (Poipu or Koloa) & West (Waimea) Shores: Head EAST towards the town of Lihue on Hwy 50. Turn RIGHT after the Kauai Humane Society (Animal Shelter) on the LIHUE ALTERNATE road. Go mile and take the first RIGHT (KIPU road, also NOT OUTLET sign), cross over small bridge and follow to the top. Take a RIGHT at our sign and pull into the first driveway. DO NOT go past the pine trees or monument.

| Closed-toed shoes are required. We recommend long pants on all Kauai ATV Tours. Must be 16 years of age to operate ATVs. ID required. Passenger vehicles available for children 15 & under or those who prefer not to operate an ATV. 5 year olds must be accompanied by an adult on the passenger vehicles. |
