Kai Bear Sports Fishing’s two fully equipped Bertram boats, the 41 ft. Kai Bear or the 45 ft. Grander depart from Nawiliwili Harbor, Kauai’s main seaport! The experienced and friendly Captain and crew will assure your safety and enjoyment! Within fifteen minutes of leaving the slip, you will be fishing some of the most productive big game waters on earth! Depending on the season, you can expect to catch Pacific Blue or Striped Marlin, Ahi, Mahi Mahi, Ono and even an occasional Sailfish! With at least one custom made Blue Water Rod and Penn International Gold 2-speed reel for each fisherman, experienced proven lures will be positioned to entice the most elusive trophy fish!
The KAI BEAR is a Bertram 38 Convertible III Sportfisher. At 17 tons and 41 ft LOA, the Kai Bear offers Bertram's renoun ride. A flybridge 14 ft above the water with seating for six provides a panoramic view of the action and the beautiful coastline of Kauai. The Kai Bear comes fully equipped with the finest tackle money can buy.
The GRANDER is Kauai’s largest sportfishing boat. At 30 tons and 45 ft LOA this Bertram 42 Convertible Sportfisher takes the often challenging Hawaiian off shore waters with grace and stability. Perfect for the comfort conscious, serious fisherman. The Grander has a flybrige with spectacular 360 degree views.
